POOR REALITY
1. Hate to say it but reality sucks. You live further down the food chain you get what you get. Doesn't mean we can't be nice about it though-- have to agree on that point.

2. I WONDER IF THIS REPLY HAS REALIZED THE DISASTER OF OBAMA’S WHIZZ TEAM OF ELITES. :"When Human socio-political hierarchies are finally reformed and restructured to put the most intellegent [sic] and empathetic members of society - into the highest echelons of power"
REPLY: “Yeah, but first you have to guarantee that people with grandiose visions of socio-political realignment according to their own moralist and elitist Master Plan aren't allowed anywhere near the selection process.”

3. YOUNG VOTERS WANT SPIRITUALITY, BUT NOT NECESSARILY RELIGION. Well, that’s because religion often tells you to do things you don’t want to do, or to refrain from doing things you want to do, while spirituality is usually more . . . flexible.

4. CHARLIE COOK: Health Care Is Obama’s Iraq.
NJ: Many polls have shown that people trust themselves more than they trust the government to improve their lives. Do you think this sentiment is at an unprecedented level?
Cook: I think Americans, by their nature, are distrustful of "big" -- whether it's big government or big labor, we're distrustful of "big." And it does go in cycles. And at the time of Barack Obama's election to the presidency, when you asked the age-old polling question, "Do you think the government should do more to address people's problems, or do you think government is trying to take on too many things?" It wasn't an overwhelming majority, but it was a majority who thought the government should do more.

5. WHY AMERICANS ARE DIFFERENT FROM EUROPEANS: Europeans are descendants of those too afraid to come. They wanted to be taken care of… not to risk it.
But we… we are they who descend from those who struck out, those who lived the less safe but more rewarding life. Those for whom the ability to choose thier life was more important than life itself.
How many died trying to get what we have? And now we throw it away and sell our freedom for the safe and controlled life.
We must rid this country of the forces that are taking our freedoms. And it’s not going to be fun or easy to do that.
