There is no truth in Washington, only political ambitions

1. Obama is sounding more and more like the captain of the Titanic.

2. What is significant about this is that "corpsman" is a military term. Obama knows little or nothing about the military; it is as though he said "col-o-nel" instead of "kernel." There are corpsmen stationed in the White House, but, after more than a year, Obama apparently doesn't know who they are, what they do, or how to pronounce their job. God help Dan Quayle if he had done something as stupid as saying "corpse-man." He never did. Will Obama be laughed out of the Presidency? The jury is out.

3. Yet even the Seattle Weekly shows that it isn't beyond bias. The headline reads: "Gay, Mentally Challenged Biracial Male Cheerleader Claims Discrimination." What if Grundy were straight, mentally unchallenged, uniracial and female? In that case, we'll bet it would be simply: "Cheerleader Claims Discrimination."

4. .It's like David Icke pointed out: "Problem, Reaction, Solution" The controllers create a problem, then use the media to scare the public to have the reaction and the solution always is more money to them, less freedom

5. And among the truly quirky findings about happiness: People report that they prefer unpleasant certainty to positive uncertainty. Consider the happiness of Americans at the beginning and late stages of the economic crisis that erupted in late 2007. "Happiness levels were higher in June 2009 than in January 2008, although living standards were markedly higher in 2008," says Graham. That's because in early 2008 no one knew the size of the economic storm the country was sailing into, Graham suggests.Graham has found a similar phenomenon in fast-growing economies: People prefer stability to break-neck growth. When a country such as Brazil experienced double-digit growth, "that was a very destabilizing experience," says Graham. "Things are changing rapidly, rewards are changing; people around you are making big gains, so even if you're gaining it doesn't seem to be as much. The uncertainty bothers you."

6. I'm sure I'm not the first, but I've been saying to people for quite some time that Obama's speeches are illogical and that he constantly contradicts himself. If his speeches are written by committee, with different parts being written by different people, perhaps no one on his staff takes the time to reconcile the different portions. Why Obama doesn't see the contradictions himself is important because it reveals a lot about the intellect of the man.

7. He finished by sighing that in Greece, the people spend their time either devising ways to get government money or scheming to avoid the tax collectors — or, preferably, both.
