Reason’s Nick Gillespie rightly calls the ban on what was “once the very symbol of a good idea” – the incandescent lightbulb – the dumbest ban of 2014.  It might well be the dumbest ban of the decade: it’s the gloomy product of crony capitalism, officious and often benighted environmentalists, and what George Will calls “Gesture Liberalism.”
