Short Christmas sermon
A Muslim in Uganda converted to Christianity. In 2011, Christmas night, he was attacked with acid by a person declaring “Allahu Akbar.” Blind now in one eye, scarred and in severe pain, he said: “When I became a Christian, I was set free from legalism, fear, and hatred. My message today is one of Christ’s love and forgiveness, and I will continue to preach it.”
Persecution and martyrdom continue apace. Happy will be the New Year, 2014, for some Christians - only in God’s Heavenly Kingdom.
